The Midnight Club

by Christopher Pike

Five terminally ill teenagers are spending their final days in a hospice, where they meet every night at midnight to tell stories. Subjects of reincarnation, life after death, God, the devil, suffering, love, and angels figure in many of these tales. One girl receives enlightenment from "the Master." Another, who never tells a story, finds out that she was misdiagnosed and leaves the hospice. For high school and older readers. 1994.
