Kip Calder and Brice McCarthy are soul twins, born the same day in 1944 at Los Alamos, New Mexico--a town that was not supposed to exist. The bond between them grows as they feel a need to atone for their fathers' sin (working on the atomic bomb) and go to eat holy dirt at the chapel of Chimayó. The Vietnam War separates them, and they have much to sort out when they meet again years later. Some strong language. 1995.
